Jason Lopez, affectionately know as JayLo, is a Ph.D. student studying wind engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
When Jason isn’t deeply immersed in his studies, you can find him outside riding either his road bike, gravel bike, or hitting up his local MTB trails.
Past Racing Teams

After a few successful unattached races, I joined the Gainesville, Florida, USA racing team presented by Bikes & More. Over two race seasons I moved up from category 5 to category 3.
Pioneer Mortgage
Though, I didn’t experience the same level of sucess on this team, I learned a lot racing in the Pro/1/2 category. I joined the team after returning from a serious accident and just couldn’t get my form back.
